RedBar Frankfurt —
A private collectors’ community for fine watches.
Part of the world’s largest watch collectors’ network.
A community shaped by its members
RedBar Frankfurt brings together collectors who value meaningful conversation, shared knowledge and genuine exchange — beyond brands, trends or transactions.
Members meet in a private setting to discuss watches, collecting philosophies and personal perspectives. This includes independent collectors’ gatherings as well as selected brand-hosted events, designed for conversation rather than presentation.
Rooted in Frankfurt, members are connected to fellow collectors across the global RedBar network — including chapters in cities such as London, New York, Dubai and Tokyo.
Built on trust and shared values
RedBar Frankfurt is shaped by collectors who value discretion, substance and long-term relationships.
Members come from diverse professional, cultural and personal backgrounds — united by curiosity, respect and a shared appreciation for horology.
Over time, this has led to enduring connections — within Frankfurt and across the global RedBar network — built on trust rather than visibility.
Participation is personal, invitations are selective, and engagement grows organically through shared standards.

Community Leadership
RedBar Frankfurt was founded by Marc Schmitz and operates as part of the global RedBar network.
The chapter functions as a curated, non-commercial platform bringing together collectors and selected participants from the watch industry.
It is stewarded by Marc, whose role centres on cultivating trusted relationships and facilitating dialogue between collectors and senior representatives of the watch world.
He occasionally contributes to discussions within the wider watch community, including a panel appearance at WatchTime Düsseldorf, Germany’s largest consumer watch fair.
Membership is personal and typically begins with introductions within the community.
